A delivery over 200 years in the making.

From the best of small batch to the never before bottled, each box brings bourbons worth sitting with. And worth sharing with friends, family and neighbors.

FROM THE FOUNDATION TO THE FUTURE

You can’t build something great without a strong foundation. And for 230 years, our foundation has been built upon making quality whiskeys that are worth sharing with friends, family and neighbors.

That’s why we’re proud to share our first box of 2025. This latest delivery features one bourbon that takes a step back and looks at the backbone of whiskey at Beam. And one bourbon that is focused on the future and new beginnings.

LITTLE BOOK CHAPTER 9, "NONE FOR GRANTED" | 750 ML

Freddie Noe knows where he comes from. For eight generations, his family has been producing some of the finest bourbons in the world. So, with this chapter, Freddie decided to look to the past to focus on the foundational flavors of bourbon – warm vanilla, sweet caramel, créme brûlée and charred oak. To do this, he took five distinct bourbons and blended them together to create a bourbon that celebrates the simplicity and pureness of bourbon.

DISTILLERS’ SHARE 09: SAUTERNES CASK FINISH | 375ML

A glass of wine is an invitation. It’s the first offering in a meal, the start of a celebration, the beginning of something special. That’s the feeling Freddie wanted to capture in Distillers’ Share #09: “Sauternes Cask Finish.” Using rare Sauternes barrels, he’s created a bourbon that is bold but beautifully balanced with the bright, honeyed sweetness of the wine. So, pull up a chair at our table and toast to new possibilities.

Prices may vary by state.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How does our Barreled & Boxed® program work?

Becoming a member of Barreled & Boxed® means you’ll receive unique shipments of whiskey from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. We'll ship you one box approximately every three months, depending on perfecting the aging process of our liquid. Each shipment will contain bottles of our most sought-after bourbons or newest releases, sent directly from our home to yours. Product sizes can range from 200ml to 750ml.

  2. Are Barreled & Boxed® shipments open in my location?

Currently, Barreled & Boxed® by the James B. Beam Distilling Co is only open to consumers in Kentucky, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota and Washington, D.C., living in a territory where direct shipments of distilled spirits from manufacturers are permitted and where alcoholic beverages, including distilled spirits, may be lawfully sold and received. Visit our Barreled & Boxed® page to sign up by entering your shipping ZIP code under “Get a Box of Your Own.”

If you live in a location not yet eligible for the program, you will be directed to join our Mailing List, and we will notify you via email if we begin shipping to your area.

If your location is eligible, given the extremely limited availability of the program, you may be directed to complete our Waitlist form if spots are not available. But do not worry, you will automatically be added to Barreled & Boxed® once additional spots open. If you have not been added as an active member after a 12-month period, we will delete your saved records.

  3. How do the charges work for Barreled & Boxed® shipments?

There is no annual fee to be a member. You can join at any time throughout the year, subject to availability. Each shipment will cost between $150 and $300, subject to change based on the products included in each shipment. The credit card on file will be charged approximately one week ahead of each shipment. The charge will consist of the retail value of the subscription – which includes a flat-rate shipping fee – and any applicable tax applied during checkout. You will receive an email confirming your purchase and then another when the box has shipped with your tracking information.

For any failed credit/debit card payments, we will attempt to reprocess the card for a total of three times during one business week. After three failed re-attempts, you will forfeit the shipment and your membership will be cancelled.

  4. How do taxes work for Barreled & Boxed®?

In addition to the cost of each shipment, your order confirmation email will show taxes charged based on your state of residence:

    • Kentucky – alcohol sales tax (6%), wholesale tax (11%) and state excise tax ($1.92/gallon)
    • Nebraska – sales tax (5.5%) and applicable local city sales tax
    • New Hampshire – alcohol fee (8%)
    • North Dakota – alcohol sales tax (7%) and applicable local county and city sales taxes
    • Washington, D.C. – alcohol sales tax (10.25%)
  5. How long is my membership commitment?

We’re so excited for you to be part of the family. Once you’re a member, you’ll continue to receive our best bourbons in each shipment. We’d hate to see you go, but if you need to cancel, you can use the self-cancellation feature in your account anytime or contact us by selecting Barreled & Boxed – Membership Program.

  6. Can I pause my membership?

Due to the limited availability of Barreled & Boxed®, you cannot pause your membership; however, you will have the option to skip a shipment one time per calendar year. If you cancel your membership and the program is sold out, you will need to join the Waitlist until there’s another opening.

  7. What does it mean to join the Waitlist?

When Barreled & Boxed® by James B. Beam Distilling Co. membership is at full capacity, consumers living in eligible locations will have the ability to join the Waitlist. As membership spots become available, Waitlist members will automatically be added into the program as active Barreled & Boxed® members and notified via email. Once you are added as an active member, you will start to receive shipments.

We will retain your information on the Waitlist for a 12-month period. If you have not been added as an active member in that timeframe, we will delete your saved records.

  8. What is the cutoff date for joining Barreled & Boxed®?

You can sign up one week ahead of each shipping date and still receive the upcoming box. If it’s less than one week out from shipment, you’ll receive the next seasonal shipment.

  9. How will I be notified of my upcoming shipments?

You’ll receive a pre-shipment notification via email prior to each shipment. The email contains important details about the box, including which bourbons will be featured, how much the shipment will cost and a specific cut-off date for shipment skipping.

Once your package ships, you’ll receive another email from UPS with tracking information.

  10. Can I skip a shipment?

Yes, you will have the ability to skip a particular shipment without having to cancel your membership. Shipment skipping is limited to one time per calendar year. For each shipment, members will receive in the pre-shipment email a specific timeframe in which they can opt out. After that deadline date has passed, members cannot skip and will receive the shipment. Members can access the skipping feature in their Barreled & Boxed® account under the Orders tab.

  11. Why is a signature required for delivery?

Applicable law requires a signature of someone 21 or older for all deliveries that contain alcohol. Carriers cannot leave shipments on stoops or in doorways.

  12. What if my product is damaged?

We’re here for you. Contact us by selecting Barreled & Boxed – Membership Program, and we’ll help get things sorted out.

  13. Can I return products I don’t like?

We can’t accept returns, so be sure to watch for email announcements about your upcoming box, and you can decide if you want to skip one or not.

  14. Are reservations required for my tour?

We want to show you around the distillery like you’re family. To do that, we’ll ask that you make a reservation. Please log into your Barreled & Boxed® account to schedule your complimentary tour.

  15. Can I gift a membership to friends and family?

At this time, we do not have a gifting option available. That said, once you get the bourbon, it’s all yours to share.
